Our Packages

Bronze Level

£130

A basic inspection of road worthiness aimed at establishing if the caravan be towed away should a customer decide to purchase it. The following areas will be inspected with a report on the points shown:

  • Parking brake – overrun actuation and recoil
  • Jockey wheel security
  • Safety latch/catch on coupling
  • Emergency braking system (breakaway cable)
  • Raise caravan to check condition, age, and suitability of tyres
  • Check wheels freely rotate and that bearings are not noisy (caravan only)
  • Wheel bolt torque settings
  • 12n lights and reflectors
  • Check all doors, windows, and hatches close securely
  • Check all other body parts and attachments are secure

Silver Level

£160

  • Parking brake – overrun actuation and recoil
  • Jockey wheel security
  • Safety latch/catch on coupling
  • Emergency braking system (breakaway cable)
  • Raise caravan to check condition, age, sustainability of tyres
  • Check wheels freely rotate and that bearings are not noisy (caravan only)
  • Wheel bolt torque settings
  • 12n lights and reflectors
  • Check all doors, windows and hatches close securely
  • Check all other body parts and attachments are secure

Gas System

  • Gas tightness test in accordance with UKLPG guidance 14
  • Check security of gas bottle straps

Electrical 240v

  • Hook up unit and mechanical test at RCD electrical safety trip switch

Body Shell & Floor

  • Damp test, noting down any adverse readings on check sheet report
  • Check for floor delamination

Gold Level

£210

  • Parking brake – overrun actuation and recoil
  • Jockey wheel security
  • Safety latch/catch on coupling
  • Emergency braking system (breakaway cable)
  • Raise caravan to check condition, age, and suitability of tyres
  • Check wheels freely rotate and that bearings are not noisy (caravan only)
  • Wheel bolt torque settings
  • 12n lights and reflectors
  • Check all doors, windows, and hatches close securely
  • Check all other body parts and attachments are secure
  • Issue a general condition statement
  • Offer estimate for repairs needed to correct faults

Gas System

  • Gas tightness test in accordance with UKLPG guidance 14
  • Check security of gas bottle straps
  • Gas safety certificate

Electrical 240v

  • Hook up unit and mechanical test at RCD electrical safety trip switch
  • Test all 240-volt sockets
  • Test ampere functionality of 240v appliances
  • Check earth bonding

Electrical 12v

  • Check charging circuit
  • Check 12v functionality and fridge

Body Shell & Floor

  • Damp test
  • Check for floor delamination
  • Issue full damp inspection report
